Coimbatore: Private company in COimbatore donated 6 lakh worth materials to COVID Care Centre. The materials included 100 beds, pillows, luggage and bed sheets worth Rs. 6 lakhs were donated to the District Revenue Officer on behalf of a Sakthi Auto Ancillary for the benefit of coronavirus victims.
Coimbatore district is seeing a steep increase in cases for the last few days. The district administration is taking various measures to prevent the spread and steps to care for the infected persons. Along with the measures by the district administration, charities and private organizations are also doing their best to contribute towards the relief operations. Sakthi Auto Ancillary in NGGO Colony, Thudiyalur has donated 100 beds to the Coronavirus Special Ward in CODISSIA on behalf of their company. The company's executives donated 100 beds, mattresses, pillows and blankets worth Rs 6 lakh to District Revenue Officer Ramadurai Murugan for the Coronavirus treatment center at CODISSIA complex in the City.
North Zone Tahsildar Maheshkumar, Deputy Tahsildhar Navaneetha Krishnan and Immanuel were present during the event.
