Case filed under SC/ST Act against person who used casteist slurs against Panchayat President in Coimbatore

Coimbatore District Negamam Police have registered a case against Balasubramaniam, a resident of Krishnapuram, under the SC / ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, following a complaint lodged by Coimbatore District J. Krishnapuram Panchayat Council Chairman Sarita.

Earlier, on the 21st of August, a complaint was filed with Coimbatore SP that Balasubramaniam, a resident of the Krishnapuram, was preventing Sarita, the Panchayat President, from working and abusing her with casteist slurs.

After investigating the complaint,case has been filed on Balasubramaniam under the SC / ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
