Senthilkumar (47) of the Sulur area owns a rice shop in the Ranganathapuram area. As he works at a foundry during the day, his wife Lalitha (40) and son Ashok Kumar take care of the shop in the day time.
Two days ago an unidentified person approached Senthilkumar and took him to the shop as he wanted to buy five sacks of rice. He asked for the rice sacks to be delivered to his house where he would make the payment.
Trusting the man Senthilkumar loaded two bags of rice on the two wheeler of the man and took three sacks of rice in his two wheeler and followed the man to his house.
The unidentified man sped on his two wheeler that did not have a number plate and since Senthil Kumar could not catch up with him, he lost track of the man. It was then that Senthil Kumar realised that the man has cheated him.
This movie style theft of rice sacks was immediately reported to the Sulur Police station where Senthil Kumar filed a complaint. The Sulur police are on the lookout for the unidentified man with the help of CCTV footage.
