Coimbatore District Administration to set special COVID Care Centers for women and children

Coimbatore: Even as fresh Corona cases keep soaring day in and day out, it is said that Coimbatore District Administration has started putting in efforts to set special COVID Care Centers for women and children. News that a school in Vadavalli is getting prepared for this purpose is on the rounds..

While COVID positive cases are treated at ESI Hospital, GH, and "E" Hall at CODISSIA, it is said that the District Administration has requested for another hall at the CODISSIA premises.

Apart from the ones treated at ESI, GH, and CODISSIA, it is said that more than 550 people have isolated themselves at private hospitals and above 500 at their homes and more than 2,400 people are receiving treatment.
