Awards were presented on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu on Independence Day to field employees who have been selflessly working for the prevention of coronavirus disease throughout Tamil Nadu.
As part of this, during the Independence Day celebrations held in Coimbatore district, the Pollachi Sub-Collector and Coimbatore District Collector Rajamani presented the award for the best field worker for the prevention of coronavirus to officer Thanigaivelu. Similarly, Pollachi Municipal Sanitation Superintendent Sathyaraj, Murugesan, Pollachi North zone Regional Development Officer, Vivekanandan and other officials were also presented with awards.
