TNSTC Retirees Welfare Organization protests in Pollachi by sending postcards sent to TN CM

Tirupur: A protest was held in Pollachi on behalf of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Retirees Welfare Organization in the form of sending postcards to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Tirupur: A protest was held in Pollachi on behalf of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Retirees Welfare Organization in the form of sending postcards to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.



They demanded immediate implementation of the Medicare scheme for retirees of TNSTC, increasing the pensions based on contract increments from 2007 onwards, payment of pension arrears from 2015, and payment of Rs. 50,000 as welfare fund to the families of deceased TNSTC pensioners. The sent postcards to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu saying that since their requests have gone unheard, they are sending the postcards containing their demands to the TN CM.

The protest was held in front of the Pollachi Head Post Office.
