Coimbatore: As many as 1,010 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the Nilgiris district till yesterday. Of these, cases of 41 persons from other districts who were diagnosed here and have been cross-notified to their respective districts.

The single-day case tally for August 14 was 18. The district has a high recovery tally of 913. Three persons have succumbed to the dreaded virus, so far. The number of active cases stood at 94.
