Periyarist associations in Coimbatore staged a protest against the New educational policy and the EIA and demanded that they be revoked.








Coimbatore: Periyarist associations in Coimbatore staged a protest against the New educational policy and the EIA and demanded that they be revoked..

Cadres agitated in front of the Coimbatore South Tahsildar's office. The TPDK, DVK, DK and many other associations took part in the protests.

They raised slogans against the NEP2-2020 and the EIA 2020. They also criticised that the New Educational policy was an attempt at implementing a caste based education system.

Similarly, they also charged that the EIA 2020 acted as the support system for big corporates to loot natural resources.

They also stated that this is anti-people and demanded that the policies should be revoked.
