Water level of dams around Valparai as on August 8, 2020

Heavy rains brought forth by the South west monsoons have caused flooding at various places in the Coimbatore District. Water levels in the dams have also been continuing to increase steadily.

Coimbatore: Heavy rains brought forth by the South west monsoons have caused flooding at various places in the Coimbatore District. Valparai, the second highest rainfall region in the country has as always received copious amounts of rainfall this season.

The recorded rainfall at various places in Valparai on August 8, are as follows:
