Coimbatore: Video of a person dragging an 8-foot snake casually by its tail has gone viral on social media sites.

A large snake was spotted near a house in Sengalipalayam in the suburbs of Coimbatore at around 8 last night. Knowing this, the public gathered in the area in large numbers. The snake slithered into a bush. Kumar, a young man who was in the crowd at the time, went into the bush with just a torch in his hand and pulled the snake out by its tail.

When the people saw this, they shouted in fear. There is a Tamil proverb that even a great army will tremble at the sight of a snake, but Kumar pulled out the snake and casually dragged it. A video that captured this daring act has gone viral on social media spaces.
