The street lights from the CTC bus stop under Tirupur Corporation to the DSK Hospital on Kangeyam Road are not working properly. Accidents occur especially on the road from CTC to DSK due to heavy traffic. Two persons were killed in an accident on the same road over the last 2 days.
Under the circumstances, they petitioned for repairing lights on this road where a lot of accidents occur. Also, the safety of two-wheelers is questionable as there is a lot of sand on the sides of these roads. Therefore, a petition was filed today with the Corporation Commissioner on behalf of the SDPI urging him to address these issues immediately.
