Tirupur: In a tragic accident, two young men died on the spot after their two-wheeler allegedly collided head-on with a Corporation maintenance vehicle which was parked on the roadside.
Tirupur: In a tragic accident, two young men died on the spot after their two-wheeler allegedly collided head-on with a Corporation maintenance vehicle which was parked on the roadside.
A Corporation vehicle engaged in maintenance of street lights on Kangeyam road had reportedly parked the vehicle on the roadside. Two youngsters allegedly on a speeding two-wheeler crashed on the Corporation vehicle from behind.
Both the men in the two-wheeler died on the spot. The victims are identified as Karim of Periya Thottam and Karan of Kunnangalkadu.
The Tirupur South police retrieved the bodies of the victims and sent them to the Tirupur Government Hospital for autopsy. Investigations are on.
