Coimbatore runs to abolish Child Labor: ECL MARATHON kicks off in a grand way


It doesn't look like a usual Sunday routine,  people of Coimbatore have actively participated in the Marathon supporting the abolishment of child labour on 'World Day against Child Labour'. The District collector Archana Patnaik inaugrated the event by 5:30 am. This event was organized by Fusion Media & Entertainments to promote the awareness of abolishing child labour and educating kids. 

People of the city have shown immense support and their awareness about the need of abolishing child labour. 

Our Hon' Chief minister Dr. J. Jayalalitha has also given a strong press statement yesterday at Chennai condemning child labour and its implications on the Society. She has also assured the govt will strive hard to abolish child labour and make TN a Zero Child labour state.
