Ration Shop and Sanitation Work Inspection in Ward 27, Peelamedu, Coimbatore

Coimbatore Corporation Councillor Ambika Danapal conducted an inspection of fair price shop operations, street cleaning, and waste collection services in Ward 27 of Singanalur constituency, Peelamedu area. She interacted with residents and provided guidance to sanitation workers to ensure quality public services.


Coimbatore: Ward Councillor Ambika Danapal conducted a comprehensive inspection of various locations in Ward Number 27, North Zone, Coimbatore Corporation under Singanalur Assembly constituency this morning.

The councillor visited the Singanalur Cooperative Fair Price Shop operating on Peelamedu Murugan Temple Street early this morning. During the inspection, Ambika Danapal interacted with fair price shop employees and enquired with residents whether they were receiving all essential commodities properly.



Subsequently, the councillor visited the Peelamedu Bharathi Colony main road area and directly monitored the cleaning work of roadside plants and waste collection. She provided specific instructions to sanitation workers to collect the cleared plants and waste materials at a designated location to ensure systematic disposal.



The inspection tour continued to Peelamedu Mariamman Temple Street, where Councillor Ambika Danapal verified whether the battery-operated waste collection auto was operating on schedule for daily garbage collection. She interacted with local residents and requested them not to litter on roadsides, emphasizing community participation in maintaining cleanliness.



It is noteworthy that Councillor Ambika Danapal is conducting regular monitoring activities to ensure that fair price shop operations, street cleaning, and waste management services continue to function efficiently in Ward 27. Her hands-on approach demonstrates commitment to providing quality civic amenities to residents in her constituency.
