Coimbatore: Comprehensive cleanliness and maintenance works are underway in full swing at Ward No. 27 Peelamedu area under Singanallur Assembly constituency of Coimbatore Corporation North Zone. Ward Councillor Ambika Dhanapal personally inspected these works today and provided necessary guidance to sanitation workers.
At Sri Tirupathi Venkatahalapathy Nagar area, the work of removing trees cut by the Electricity Board using JCB machinery is in progress. After inspecting the work personally, the councillor instructed sanitation workers that all tree branches along the roadside must be completely cleared.

Mosquito control medicine spraying work is being carried out in areas with stormwater drains on Kavetti Rangasamy Street. Councillor Ambika Dhanapal, who inspected this work, emphasized that mosquito medicine should be sprayed thoroughly in all parts of Kavetti Rangasamy Street. This is a precautionary measure to prevent mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue and malaria.

At Bharathi Colony Second Street area, work is underway to remove sewer silt using JCB machinery. The councillor, who also inspected this work, told sanitation workers that the sewer silt should be completely cleaned and sewage water should flow properly without any obstruction.
