Coimbatore: The Mathampatti sub-station is scheduled to undergo routine monthly electrical maintenance work tomorrow (July 14) from 9 AM to 5 PM, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board announced today.
Due to the maintenance activities, power supply will be unavailable in several areas serviced by the Mathampatti sub-station. The affected localities include Mathampatti, Alanthurai, Kuppanur, Karadimadai, Poondi, Semmedu, Theethibalayam, Perur, Koundanur, Kalampalaiyam, and Perur Settipalayam.
The electricity board has requested residents and businesses in these areas to plan accordingly and make necessary arrangements for the eight-hour power interruption. Officials stated that the maintenance work is essential to ensure the reliable and safe operation of the electrical infrastructure. The power supply is expected to be restored by 5 PM on the same day, subject to the completion of maintenance activities.
