Passenger Alert: Coimbatore–Lokmanya Tilak Express Rescheduled to Depart at 6.30 p.m.; Over 9-Hour Delay

Southern Railway has rescheduled the Coimbatore–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express by 9 hours and 40 minutes on July 8 due to the late arrival of the pairing train. Passengers have been advised to check the revised departure time before commencing their journey.


Coimbatore: Southern Railway has announced the rescheduling of the Coimbatore–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express on Wednesday owing to the late running of the pairing train.

According to the Salem Division of Southern Railway, Train No. 11014 Coimbatore–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express (via Salem, Dharmapuri and Hosur), originally scheduled to depart from Coimbatore Junction at 8.50 a.m. on July 8, will now leave at 6.30 p.m., resulting in a delay of 9 hours and 40 minutes.

Railway authorities attributed the revised departure timing to the delayed arrival of the corresponding inbound service.

Passengers travelling on the train have been advised to take note of the revised schedule and plan their journey accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
