Pollachi MP K Easwarasamy Inaugurates Fair Price Shops and Anganwadi Center Worth Rs 57 Lakh in Coimbatore

Pollachi MP K Easwarasamy inaugurated two fair price shops and an anganwadi center built at Rs 57 lakh from constituency development funds in Coimbatore Corporation's South and West zones, in the presence of Mayor Ka Ranganayaki Ramachandran, providing essential services to citizens.


Coimbatore: New fair price shops and an anganwadi center were inaugurated today in the South and West zones of Coimbatore Corporation for the welfare of the public. Pollachi Member of Parliament K Easwarasamy opened these facilities built at an estimated cost of Rs 57 lakh from his constituency development fund, in the presence of Mayor Ka Ranganayaki Ramachandran.






First, the MP inaugurated a newly constructed fair price shop built at Rs 20 lakh in the Kalki Garden area of Sugunapuram West under Ward No. 91 of the South zone. Following this, a fair price shop constructed at Rs 22 lakh in the Ponnaiyarajapuram area under Ward No. 73 of the West zone, and an anganwadi center building built at Rs 15 lakh in Arunachalam Street under Ward No. 72 were inaugurated.






After opening the fair price shops, the Member of Parliament distributed fair price commodities to the public. Various developmental project works are continuously being carried out in the five zones of Coimbatore Corporation - East, West, North, South and Central. These new facilities are part of those development projects.








The event was attended by Deputy Mayor Ra Vetriselvan, West Zone Chairperson Deivayanai Tamilmarai, Town Planning Committee Chairman Santhosh, Assistant Commissioners Dakshinamurthy (South) and Narmada (West), Councilors Senthilkumar and Karthik Selvaraj, Assistant Engineers Navaneetakrishnan and Manjuladevi, Health Inspector Balamurugan, and several Corporation officials.
