Coimbatore–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express to Halt at Yelahanka from June 29

Southern Railway has introduced an experimental halt for the Coimbatore–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express and the return service at Yelahanka Railway Station in Bengaluru with effect from June 29, 2026.

Coimbatore: Southern Railway has announced an additional stoppage for the Coimbatore–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) Express at Yelahanka Railway Station in Bengaluru on an experimental basis, with effect from June 29, 2026.

According to a release issued by the Salem Division of Southern Railway, Train No. 11014 Coimbatore–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will stop at Yelahanka from the service departing Coimbatore Junction on June 29. The train is scheduled to arrive at Yelahanka at 4.41 p.m. and depart at 4.43 p.m.

Similarly, Train No. 11013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Coimbatore Express will also be provided with an experimental halt at Yelahanka from the service leaving Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on June 29. The train will arrive at Yelahanka at 7.28 p.m. and depart at 7.30 p.m.

Southern Railway said the additional stoppage has been introduced on an experimental basis and will remain in force until further notice.

The new halt is expected to benefit passengers travelling between Coimbatore and the northern parts of Bengaluru by providing improved rail connectivity and greater convenience.
