Free dialysis center at Coimbatore Seethalakshmi Urban Health Centre – City Corporation Commissioner announces.

A new dialysis center with 10 machines has been operational since January at Sithalakshmi Government Urban Health Center in R.S. Puram, Coimbatore. The facility, established with private participation, provides free treatment to 20 patients daily under the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme, informed Corporation Commissioner Katta Ravi Teja.


Coimbatore: A new dialysis center for kidney patients has been operational since January at the Sithalakshmi Government Urban Primary Health Center premises in R.S. Puram, Coimbatore Corporation. Established with private participation, this center is equipped with 10 dialysis machines.

The center has been set up to provide free dialysis treatment to the general public suffering from kidney failure. Dialysis procedures are being conducted by an experienced medical team.

Twenty patients benefit from this center daily through two shifts in rotation. Over 100 patients have benefited from this center operating in a safe and hygienic environment so far.

It is noteworthy that dialysis treatment is being conducted free of charge under the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme. The center operates from 8 AM to 5 PM.
