Sree Annapoorna Opens 23rd Branch in Kumarapalayam with Grand 12,000 Sq Ft Facility

Coimbatore's iconic restaurant chain “Sree Annapoorna” launched its 23rd outlet in Kumarapalayam, Erode district on Thursday. The 12,000 sq ft facility features a spacious dining hall seating 220, exclusive sweets and bakery section with 100+ varieties, and parking for 100 cars, marking expansion across Tamil Nadu.


Coimbatore: Marking another milestone in its illustrious culinary journey, Coimbatore's celebrated restaurant group Sree Annapoorna officially opened its 23rd branch at Kumarapalayam in Erode district on Thursday (May 28, 2026).

The grand inauguration ceremony was led by Milky Mist Chairman and Managing Director T.S. Sathish Kumar, who formally declared the new outlet open to the public. The first floor of the establishment was jointly inaugurated by office-bearers of the Coimbatore District Hoteliers Association, alongside Annalakshmi Restaurant Managing Director Ramasamy and Hari Bhavanam Restaurant Managing Director R. Balachander.

The event witnessed the presence of several prominent personalities from the hospitality and business sectors. Annapoorna Group Managing Director T. Srinivasan, Joint Managing Director R. Venkatesh, Chief Executive Officer Jagan S. Damodarasamy, and Executive Director Vivek Srinivasan participated in the inauguration celebrations and welcomed guests and patrons.

Designed with a blend of elegance, comfort, and modern infrastructure, the new branch has been established across an expansive 12,000 square feet area. The facility houses a spacious and specially designed dining hall, an exclusive sweets and bakery division, and a well-planned parking area capable of accommodating nearly 100 cars.

The ground-floor dining space alone has seating arrangements for around 220 customers at a time, offering a comfortable and family-friendly dining experience. The interiors have been crafted to reflect Annapoorna's signature blend of tradition and contemporary hospitality.

Adding significance to the occasion, the inaugural sale at the new branch was formally initiated by SKM Group Managing Director Sivakumar, while Avenue Group Chairman M.S. Kumaran received the first purchase.



One of the major attractions of the outlet is its expansive sweets and bakery section, which offers customers an impressive range of delicacies. The section features more than 100 varieties of sweets, over 25 savoury snack items, and upwards of 50 bakery products, catering to diverse tastes and preferences.
