Coimbatore Corporation Grievance Redressal Meeting Scheduled for May 26

Coimbatore Corporation will conduct a grievance redressal meeting on May 26, 2026, at the head office under Mayor K. Ranganayaki Ramachandran's chairmanship. Citizens can submit petitions regarding basic civic amenities and services from 11 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Corporation has announced that a public grievance redressal meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Corporation head office from 11 AM to 1 PM. The announcement was made by Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran.

The meeting will be chaired by Coimbatore Corporation Mayor K. Ranganayaki Ramachandran, providing citizens an opportunity to directly present their concerns and complaints to the civic administration.

Residents living within the Coimbatore Corporation limits can submit petitions regarding various civic services and basic amenities. The Corporation has invited citizens to present requests related to birth and death certificates, road facilities, street lighting, drinking water supply, underground drainage systems, professional tax, property tax, vacant land tax, new water connections, name changes, medical services, sanitation, and education-related matters.

The Corporation administration has assured that all petitions received during the meeting will be processed by the respective departmental officials. The concerned officers will take appropriate action on the complaints and requests submitted by the public.

The Corporation has emphasized that these grievance redressal meetings are conducted every Tuesday on a weekly basis. Citizens are encouraged to participate in these regular sessions to voice their concerns and seek resolution of civic issues affecting their neighborhoods.

The initiative reflects the Corporation's commitment to accessible governance and prompt addressing of public grievances. By providing a dedicated platform for citizen engagement, the administration aims to improve service delivery and maintain transparency in municipal operations.
