Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College Celebrates 32nd Annual Day with Former DGP as Chief Guest

Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, celebrated its 32nd Annual Day at the college auditorium. Former Tamil Nadu DGP Dr. C. Sylendra Babu addressed students, emphasizing lifelong learning and character building. Gold medals were awarded to outstanding students for academic excellence and overall performance.


Coimbatore: The 32ndAnnual Day of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College was celebrated in the college auditorium. Dr. A.Soundarrajan Principal welcomed the gathering followed by the brief presentation of the Annual Report for the academic year. The Joint Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust, Shri S.NARENDRAN , presided over the function.



The Chief Guest of the day was Dr.C.Sylendra Babu , Former Tamilnadu DGP. . In his inspiring address, the Chief Guest motivated students to redesign themselves, be optimistic, grateful to their parents, and embrace a life long learning journey, firmly emphasising that learning is earning. He highlighted the importance of curiosity, self-belief, knowledge, communication skills, and employability as essential qualities for personal and professional growth. Drawing inspiration from great personalities like Sir Isaac Newton, Darwin, and Socrates, he reminded the students that cooperation and coordination are the very foundations of human progress. He passionately urged the students to engage in various activities that build character, keep an open mind to welcome new opportunities, and use their knowledge and skills to help people around them through the power of learning



Mathesh.H.Pof Electronics and Communication Engineering received the Gold medals and Rolling trophy for being the best outgoing boy and Ms.Sharmila of Bio medical Engineering for being best outgoing girl student of the Year 2025-2026. Also, the meritorious students from various disciplines received the awards who have excelled both in academics and other activities.



During the event, the management recognized the faculty and staff who have put in 25 years of service in the college. Faculty members received accolades for their academic achievements, including outstanding research publications, innovative patent grants, and exemplary Ph.D. supervision. Student endowment scholarships .were given to deserving meritorious students through endowments instituted by the alumni. Best NCC Cadet award and NSS best Volunteer award were also given. The college magazine ‘Pinnacle 2025’ was released during the occasion.

Dr.Allirani , Professor and Head of Department of EEE and the convenor of the programme proposed a vote of thanks.
