AIADMK alliance candidates in Coimbatore assured industrialists to address their concerns including electricity tariff hike during an interactive meeting organized by Tamil Nadu All Entrepreneurs Federation. The meeting instilled confidence among small and medium business owners about their demands being met after elections.
Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu All Entrepreneurs Federation has stated that the interactive session with candidates in Coimbatore has instilled great confidence among industrialists and entrepreneurs.

Speaking about this, Jeyapal, State General Secretary of Tamil Nadu All Entrepreneurs Federation said that a special meeting was held on Wednesday morning at a private hotel on Avinashi Road in Coimbatore under the auspices of their federation. In the afternoon, an interactive session was conducted with AIADMK alliance candidates contesting in Coimbatore assembly constituencies.

The event was attended by AIADMK candidate K.R. Jayaram from Singanallur constituency, Kandasamy from Sulur constituency, Thamodharan from Kinathukadavu constituency, P.R.G. Arunkumar from Kavundampalayam constituency, and the son of Velumani representing the AIADMK candidate from Thondamuthur constituency.


A handbook containing key demands on behalf of industrialists, prepared by Tamil Nadu All Entrepreneurs Federation to be submitted to all political parties for the upcoming assembly elections, was distributed to the participating candidates. These demands were discussed during the event.


Particularly, issues including electricity tariff hike and other problems that have caused immense pressure on industrialists were highlighted. Responding to this, the candidates stated that after their party assumes office, measures will definitely be taken to fulfill the demands put forward on behalf of the industrialists.

Administrators of various industrial organizations who participated in the event expressed that it has created great confidence among them. Administrators from micro and small industrial organizations and executives from Coimbatore Apartment Welfare Federation participated in the event.

Following the AIADMK candidates, we have planned to conduct interactive sessions with candidates contesting on behalf of the DMK alliance in Coimbatore assembly constituencies in the coming days, Jeyapal added.
