Black Flag Protest and Bill Burning Held Against Delimitation Bill in Coimbatore

DMK Corporator Jeevi Naveen Kumar led a black flag protest and bill burning demonstration in Coimbatore against the Delimitation Bill hastily passed in Parliament. Leaders from DMK, Congress, and Marxist Communist Party participated in the protest at Fifth Ward.


Coimbatore: A black flag protest and bill burning demonstration was held in Coimbatore against the Delimitation Bill that was hastily passed in Parliament. The protest was led by Fifth Ward Corporator Jeevi Naveen Kumar of Coimbatore Corporation.






The demonstration saw participation from various political party leaders expressing their strong opposition to the manner in which the Delimitation Bill was rushed through Parliament. Protesters gathered to voice their concerns about the legislative process and burned copies of the bill as a mark of protest.






The protest witnessed significant participation from DMK Constituency In-charge Arokkiya John and Circle Secretary Kannan. Congress veteran leader Gopal and Youth Congress District President Akash also joined the demonstration, showing solidarity across party lines.






Marxist Communist Party In-charge Mohan and Sundar were present at the protest along with other party workers. Ravikumar and Ramesh Kumar also participated in the demonstration against the Delimitation Bill.






Youth Congress Legislative President Suresh, Kalaichelvan, Felix, Irudhayasamy, Anand, and Shanmugasundaram attended the protest. Other participants included Antony, Malaichamy, Kurundasalam, Ayyavu, Kaliyappan, and Sundrasamy.






Karthik, Karthikeyan, Shanthi, Gowri, Suresh, Vivekanandan, Chithiravel, Rajagopal, and Mathesh also took part in the protest, demonstrating widespread opposition to the bill among local political workers and leaders across different parties.
