K R Jayaram Campaigns in MGR Avatar for AIADMK in Singanallur Constituency

AIADMK candidate K R Jayaram campaigned in Singanallur Assembly Constituency areas including Nandha Nagar and Thirukumaran Nagar, highlighting party schemes and election promises while seeking votes for the Two Leaves symbol from residents who welcomed him enthusiastically.


Coimbatore: National Democratic Alliance's AIADMK candidate for Singanallur Assembly Constituency, K R Jayaram, conducted an extensive door-to-door campaign in various areas under the Singanallur region including Nandha Nagar, Thirukumaran Nagar Extension, Thirukumaran Nagar, SRD Layout, and Textile Layout, seeking support for the Two Leaves symbol.



During the campaign, Jayaram elaborated on the AIADMK government's schemes and election promises while interacting with residents. The locals gave him an enthusiastic reception with traditional drums, flowers, and aarathi. In a unique gesture, Jayaram dressed up as MGR while canvassing for votes, which drew considerable attention from the public.

In an interesting moment during the campaign, parents from the locality requested Jayaram to name their child. The candidate graciously accepted and named the baby "Duthithra," much to the delight of the family and onlookers.

The campaign witnessed active participation from area secretary Sivakumar, ward secretaries Sasikumar and Chandrasekar, along with administrators and functionaries from National Democratic Alliance parties including BJP, AMMK, and PMK. Numerous AIADMK administrators, party workers, and a large number of general public joined the canvassing efforts, making it a successful outreach program in the constituency.
