Coimbatore: AIADMK candidate Amman K Arjunan commenced his election campaign today from Kallukuzhi in Ward Number 83, Sungam area, which falls under the Coimbatore South Assembly constituency of Coimbatore Metropolitan District.


During his campaign, Arjunan conducted extensive door-to-door visits and street corner meetings across several key areas. His campaign covered Appusamy Street, Narayanasamy Street, Verivada Street, Nirmala College Road, Muthusamy Layout, and Kamarajar Road, engaging directly with local residents.


The AIADMK candidate presented his party's election manifesto to the voters, outlining significant infrastructure development projects for the region. He promised the construction of a high-level elevated corridor on the Coimbatore-Trichy Road, starting from near St. Mary's School and extending up to the Police Commissioner's Office on the Lanka Corner-Railway Station Road.

Arjunan also emphasized his commitment to the renovation and desilting of the Siruvani Dam. He assured voters that the Coimbatore government would negotiate with the Central Government to secure necessary assistance for implementing this crucial water resource project.
