Coimbatore’s 8-year-old model Titus to represent India at global finals

Eight-year-old Titus from Coimbatore will represent India in a junior modelling world finals in Indonesia after winning multiple titles across South India and gaining recognition through fashion shows and ad films.

Coimbatore:

An eight-year-old boy from Coimbatore, Titus, is set to represent India in the junior category at an international modelling competition to be held in Indonesia from March 31 to April 5.

A student of Stanes CBSE School, Titus has emerged as a young talent in the modelling field, known for his confident walk, expressive communication and stage presence. His journey began at a young age with a strong interest in fashion, which gradually evolved into competitive participation after winning a mall-level fashion event.

Over the past year, he has won multiple titles including Aura Fashion of Tamil Nadu 2025 in Chennai, Stars of Tomorrow 2025 in Coimbatore, Met Glam 2025 and Model of the Year 2025. He was also honoured with the Shining Star of South India award in Kerala. He has additionally participated and won in several fashion platforms such as Summerholic and South Indian JFW events across the region.

His recent win at an international competition held in Kochi earned him the opportunity to represent India at the global finals in Indonesia. The competition will feature participants from around 15 countries including the United Kingdom, Mongolia and South Africa.

The event will consist of four rounds — talent round, national costume round, white outfit round and a final king suit round. In the talent segment, Titus is preparing to perform Silambam, showcasing Indian traditional martial arts on the global stage.

He has been undergoing professional training at a modelling academy in Kochi while also preparing at home with guidance from his parents. Special focus is being given to grooming, communication skills and international-level presentation.

Apart from modelling, Titus has featured in several advertisement films for brands such as Anandhaas Sweets, Anandhaas Hotel, Akshayam Sweets and Hotel, K.R. Bakes and Santa ads.

Beyond fashion, he actively participates in athletics, Silambam, football, dance, drama and music, and has won multiple prizes in these fields. He has also acted in short films, advertisements and music albums.

His parents, Stanley and Leema Rose, have been supporting and training him since the age of six, identifying and nurturing his talents. They said the school has also been supportive, encouraging him to participate in competitions.

Currently studying in Class 3, Titus aspires to become a successful actor in the future. With his upcoming international participation, he adds to the list of young talents from Coimbatore making their mark on global platforms.
