Coimbatore-Abu Dhabi Flight Service Suspended Until March 28 Due to Iran-Israel Conflict

IndiGo's Coimbatore-Abu Dhabi flight service remains suspended until March 28 due to escalating tensions in Gulf countries following the Iran-Israel conflict. Passengers are advised to modify their travel plans accordingly and contact airline officials for updates on service resumption.

Coimbatore: Flight services from India to various routes have been temporarily suspended due to the tense situation prevailing in Gulf countries caused by the Iran-Israel conflict.

At Coimbatore Airport, international flight services are operated to three destinations: Sharjah by Air Arabia, Singapore by Scoot Airlines, and Abu Dhabi by IndiGo.

Among these services, the Coimbatore-Sharjah flight route was temporarily suspended from March 1. However, services resumed on March 9 for one day and are currently operating five days a week. Flights to Singapore continue to operate daily as usual. The IndiGo flight service between Coimbatore and Abu Dhabi, which was temporarily suspended, has not yet resumed operations.

Airline officials stated that no announcement has been received from the headquarters regarding the resumption of the Coimbatore-Abu Dhabi flight service. They confirmed that the temporary suspension of the Coimbatore-Abu Dhabi flight service will continue until March 28. Passengers are advised to modify their travel plans accordingly. For information about whether flight services will resume after March 28, passengers can contact airport or airline officials.

The suspension has affected numerous passengers who regularly travel between Coimbatore and Abu Dhabi for business and personal purposes. The airline is offering rebooking options and refunds to affected passengers. The decision to extend the suspension is being reviewed based on the evolving security situation in the Gulf region.
