Mayor Inspects Classical Language Park and Rain-Affected Areas in Coimbatore's Ganapathy

Mayor R. Ranganayaki Ramachandran conducted inspections in Ganapathy on October 16, reviewing the maintenance of the Classical Language Park and assessing rain-damaged houses in Bhagat Singh Street.


Coimbatore: Mayor R. Ranganayaki Ramachandran conducted a series of inspections in the Ganapathy area of Coimbatore on October 16, focusing on various civic issues and ongoing municipal works.



The Mayor first visited the Coimbatore Corporation's Classical Language Park in Ganapathy, Kumaran Nagar, which falls under Ward 29 of the North Zone. She inspected the park's maintenance work and reviewed the overall upkeep of the facility.



Following this, Mayor R. Ranganayaki Ramachandran proceeded to Bhagat Singh Street in Ganapathy to assess the houses damaged by recent rains. She personally visited the affected residences to understand the extent of the damage and the needs of the residents.



The Mayor then observed the cleanliness drive being carried out in the Ganapathy and Kumaran Nagar areas. She watched as Corporation sanitation workers segregated waste into biodegradable and non-biodegradable categories during collection.

Throughout the inspections, Mayor R. Ranganayaki Ramachandran was accompanied by Assistant Engineer Ezhil, Assistant Engineer L.S. Mahesh, Health Inspector Baskaran, and other Corporation officials. The team discussed various aspects of urban management and cleanliness initiatives during the visit.

These inspections underscore the Corporation's commitment to maintaining public spaces, addressing weather-related damages, and ensuring proper waste management practices across Coimbatore.
