BJP Organizes Annadanam in Udumalaipet on World Elders Day

Udumalaipet BJP commemorates World Elders Day and the 5th death anniversary of late leader Ganesh Anand Sithappa by organizing Annadanam at an old age home in Gupta Layout.



Coimbatore: The Udumalaipet town unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized an Annadanam (food donation) event at an old age home in Gupta Layout, Udumalaipet, on Sunday. The event was held to mark World Elders Day and commemorate the 5th death anniversary of Ganesh Anand Sithappa, the former deputy president of Udumalaipet town BJP.

Led by Kannayiram, the town BJP president, the event saw active participation from party members and officials. The Annadanam was conducted at a home for the destitute elderly, providing meals to all residents.



Notable attendees included town deputy presidents Nachiyappan and Uma Kuppusamy, town SC wing president Palanisamy, Karthik, and other BJP functionaries. The event underscored the party's commitment to social welfare and remembrance of its past leaders.

This initiative by the BJP's Udumalaipet unit highlights the party's engagement with local communities and its efforts to support the elderly population. Such events not only provide immediate assistance but also raise awareness about the needs of senior citizens in the community.
