Coimbatore: Renowned actor Rajinikanth, aged 73, has been admitted to Apollo Hospitals for an elective cardiac procedure. The superstar is currently under the care of interventional cardiologist Dr. Sai Satish, who will oversee the procedure scheduled for Tuesday.

Hospital sources have confirmed that Rajinikanth's health condition is stable. The elective procedure will be carried out in the hospital's catheterization laboratory, commonly known as the cath lab. This specialized facility is equipped for minimally invasive cardiac procedures.
