MDMK Protests for Train Stops at Singanallur Railway Station

MDMK staged a protest at Singanallur Railway Station in Coimbatore, demanding stops for major trains. Led by party auditor Arjunaraj, demonstrators presented their demands, highlighting the lack of Salem Express stops in recent years.


Coimbatore: The Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) organized a protest demonstration today (September 29) at the Singanallur Railway Station area in Coimbatore. The protest was led by MDMK party auditor Arjunaraj.

Participants in the demonstration put forth their demand for major trains to halt at Singanallur Railway Station. They specifically expressed their displeasure over the fact that Salem Express trains have not been stopping at Singanallur for the past few years.



The protesters raised slogans emphasizing the need for important trains to stop at Singanallur Railway Station, citing public welfare. The demonstration was conducted peacefully. The protestors expressed hope that the railway administration would take their demand into consideration and take appropriate action soon. They stressed the importance of this measure for the convenience of local commuters and the overall development of the area.
