DMK Celebrates as Former Minister Senthil Balaji Granted Bail

DMK members in Pollachi burst firecrackers and held a rally to celebrate the Supreme Court's decision to grant bail to former minister Senthil Balaji after 15 months of imprisonment.



Coimbatore: The Supreme Court's decision to grant bail to former minister Senthil Balaji, who had been imprisoned for 15 months in a money laundering case, sparked celebrations among DMK members in Pollachi on Thursday.

Senthil Balaji, arrested by the Enforcement Directorate, had been in custody for over a year. The news of his bail brought joy to DMK supporters across the state, with Pollachi witnessing enthusiastic celebrations.



The Pollachi Town DMK, led by Town Secretary Navaneethakrishnan, organized a rally from the party's local office to Ther Nilai Thidal. Party members burst firecrackers and raised slogans expressing their happiness over Balaji's bail.

Notable participants in the celebration included Pollachi Municipal Chairperson Syamala Navaneethakrishnan, Town Deputy Secretary Dharmaraj, DMK municipal councilors, and various party executives. The gathering highlighted the significance of Balaji's release for the party members in the region.
