East Zone Chairman Addresses Water Issues in Ward 54, Coimbatore

Coimbatore: East Zone Chairman Ilanchelvi Karthik visited Ward 54 in the Madurai Veeran Temple area of Coimbatore City Corporation's Eastern Zone on September 24, 2024. The visit was prompted by complaints from residents regarding drinking water and salt water issues in the area.



During her visit, Ilanchelvi Karthik met with local residents and listened to their grievances firsthand. Following the interaction, she immediately contacted the concerned officials and urged them to take swift action to rectify the problems.



She emphasized the need for immediate measures to ensure the proper supply of both drinking water and salt water to the affected areas.



The Chairman was accompanied by several officials and local representatives, including Ward Secretary Siva MC, Circle Secretary Anand, Assistant Engineer Jagadeeshwari, and Ward Councilor Bagyam Dhanapal. Also present were Kongu Peravai Dhanapal, Auditor Sasikumar, local residents, Suez Thyagu, and the Sanitary Supervisor.

The visit highlights the local administration's efforts to address infrastructure issues and respond to residents' concerns promptly. The East Zone Chairman's direct interaction with the affected community demonstrates a commitment to resolving water-related problems in Ward 54.
