Coimbatore MP Ganapathi Rajkumar Inspects Water Pipeline Leak in Saravanampatti-Thudiyalur Road Area

Coimbatore MP Dr. Ganapathi P. Rajkumar inspected a water pipeline leak in Saravanampatti-Thudiyalur Road area on September 12. He directed officials to immediately repair the damaged pipeline and overhead tank in Ward 4.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore Member of Parliament Dr. Ganapathi P. Rajkumar conducted an inspection of a water pipeline leak in the Saravanampatti-Thudiyalur Road area on September 12. The leak was detected in the drinking water pipeline installed under the Pillur-3 scheme in Ward 4 of the Coimbatore Corporation's North Zone.

The inspection was carried out in the presence of Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar and Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran IAS. MP Rajkumar instructed the concerned officials to immediately repair the damaged water pipeline.



Following the pipeline inspection, the MP visited the overhead water tank located in Namasivaya Nagar, Saravanampatti, which also falls under Ward 4 of the North Zone. He examined the tank's condition and directed the officials to promptly fix any issues found during the inspection.



The Member of Parliament emphasized the importance of maintaining the city's water infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted supply to residents. He urged the officials to take swift action in addressing the leaks and damages to minimize water wastage and inconvenience to the public.



Accompanying the MP during the inspection were North Zone Chairman V. Kathirvel, Ward Councilor Kathirvelusamy, Assistant Commissioner Sridevi, Assistant Engineer Uthaman, and other Corporation officials. The team discussed the necessary steps to be taken for the repair work and the timeline for completion.

The Corporation officials assured that the repair work would be carried out promptly to restore normal water supply in the affected areas. Residents of Ward 4 and surrounding areas are advised to cooperate with the Corporation during the repair process.
