Minister Offers Condolences to Victim of Shop Fire Incident in Dharapuram

Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj visited Dharapuram to console Rajeswari, whose iron shop was destroyed in a fire. The minister assured support to the affected family.


Coimbatore: Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj visited Dharapuram in Tiruppur district to offer condolences to a family affected by a shop fire incident. The minister met with Rajeswari, whose iron shop was destroyed in the blaze that occurred on the previous day.

Rajeswari, a resident of R.S.V. Nagar near the Dharapuram bypass bridge, runs an iron shop named 'Best Metals'. Her husband, Prabhu, works as a lorry driver. The couple's livelihood was severely impacted when their shop caught fire and was completely gutted.



Upon learning about the incident, Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj personally visited the affected family to express her sympathy and offer support. The minister was accompanied by DMK City Secretary Muruganandham, other DMK party members, and government officials during the visit.

The minister assured the family that the government would provide necessary assistance to help them recover from the loss. Local authorities have been instructed to assess the damage and submit a report for further action.
