Army Recruitment Camp Continues for Second Day at Nehru Stadium in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: The Army Recruitment Camp at Nehru Stadium in Coimbatore continued for the second day on August 2, following its commencement on August 1. The five-day event is designed to recruit candidates for various positions in the Indian Army.

The recruitment drive is open to candidates who have passed 10th or 8th grade, depending on the position. Positions available include Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical, and other roles.

Aspirants from 11 districts, including Nilgiris, Erode, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Dindigul, Madurai, Theni, Tiruppur, and Coimbatore, are participating in the camp. After document verification, eligible candidates are allowed to proceed with the recruitment process.

The organizers have invited approximately 1,000 candidates to participate each day. Over the course of five days, it is expected that around 3,000 individuals will attend the recruitment camp. To ensure smooth conduct of the event, local police have been deployed to provide security in the area surrounding the stadium.

The recruitment camp offers a significant opportunity for young individuals from various districts to join the Indian Army and serve the nation. The process includes thorough document verification and physical tests to select the most suitable candidates for the available positions.
