District Collector Distributes Free Uniforms at Ramanathapuram Corporation School

District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati distributed free additional uniforms to students at Ramanathapuram Corporation Primary School in Coimbatore on July 29. The event was organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Women's Rights.


Coimbatore: District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati distributed free additional uniforms to students benefiting from the noon meal scheme at the Ramanathapuram Corporation Primary School on Perumal Kovil Street today, July 29. The initiative was organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Women's Rights.

The event saw the participation of several officials and dignitaries. Corporation Commissioner R. Vetrichelvam, Social Welfare and Women's Rights Department Officer Ambika, Central Zone Chairman Meenalokhu, Education Committee Chairperson Malathi Nagaraj, Deputy Commissioner Dr. S. Selvasurabhi, and Council Member Muniyammal were present at the function.



Other government officials also attended the uniform distribution ceremony. The initiative aims to support students from underprivileged backgrounds and promote education in the region.



The distribution of free uniforms is part of the government's efforts to ensure that all students have access to proper school attire, regardless of their economic background. This move is expected to encourage school attendance and create a sense of equality among students.
