Free Bicycles Distributed to 11th Grade Students at Ondipudur Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Coimbatore

Minister S. Muthusamy distributed free bicycles to 11th grade students at Ondipudur Government Boys Higher Secondary School on July 26. The event was attended by district officials and DMK party members.


Coimbatore: A ceremony to distribute free bicycles to 11th grade students was held at the Ondipudur Government Boys Higher Secondary School on the Coimbatore-Trichy Road on July 26.



S. Muthusamy, Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Prohibition and Excise, participated in the event and distributed free bicycles to the 11th grade students.



The event was attended by several prominent officials and political figures. Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati and Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran were present at the ceremony. Other attendees included N. Karthik, former MLA and DMK Urban District Secretary, Airport Rajendran, a member of the DMK Executive Committee, and R. Vetrichselvan, Deputy Mayor of Coimbatore Corporation.

Additional participants included Auditor Sasikumar, a general committee member, S.M. Samy, Secretary of Singanallur Area-1, Ilakumi Ilanchelvi Karthik, Chairman of the Corporation's East Zone, and corporation councilors Shantha Mani Panneerselvam and Sumitra Deepak.

The event also saw the presence of Kasturi Arun, Area Deputy Secretary, Ward Secretaries Suresh Kumar, LPF Shanmugam, Rajendran, and T. Ilangovan. Viswanathan from the Weavers' Wing, along with party executives, school students, and teachers, also attended the function.

The distribution of free bicycles is part of the government's initiative to support and encourage education among students in the state.
