Monthly LPG Consumer Grievance Redressal Meeting to be Held in Coimbatore

A monthly LPG consumer grievance redressal meeting will be held on July 30, 2024, at 4 PM in the Coimbatore District Collectorate. The public is invited to attend and address their LPG-related concerns.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore district administration has announced that a monthly LPG consumer grievance redressal meeting will be held on July 30, 2024. The meeting aims to address concerns and issues related to LPG consumption and services in the district.

The meeting will be chaired by the District Revenue Officer and will take place at 4:00 PM in the conference hall on the second floor of the Coimbatore District Collectorate. It will bring together key stakeholders in the LPG supply chain, including managers from all oil companies operating in Coimbatore district (Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation), LPG distributors, and representatives from voluntary consumer organizations.

District Revenue Officer Sharmila has invited members of the public to attend the meeting and present their grievances related to LPG consumption. This provides an opportunity for consumers to directly interact with officials and seek solutions to their LPG-related problems.

The monthly meeting is part of the district administration's efforts to ensure better service delivery and address consumer concerns in the LPG sector. It serves as a platform for open dialogue between consumers, distributors, and oil company representatives, potentially leading to improved LPG services in the district.
