Minister Muthusamy: Senthil Balaji's Absence in Upcoming Election a Loss for All

Minister Muthusamy inaugurated a millet restaurant at Coimbatore Collectorate, addressed reporters on housing approvals, and commented on Senthil Balaji's imprisonment and party decisions regarding deputy chief minister position.

Coimbatore: Minister Muthusamy expressed that Senthil Balaji's presence in the upcoming election would have been a strength, and his current imprisonment is not only a disappointment for them but for everyone.

Minister Muthusamy inaugurated a millet restaurant established by Women's Self Help Groups at the Coimbatore Collector's office. Later, addressing reporters, he spoke about the Chief Minister's initiative for immediate housing approvals for common people. He refuted AIADMK's claim of charging double the fee per square foot, stating, "One should consider how much hassle and expense people would face if the old approval process continued. If there are high charges, the Chief Minister will review it. But there's nothing like that."

Regarding the upcoming election, Muthusamy said, "Senthil Balaji's presence would have been a strength. His current imprisonment is disappointing not just for us, but for everyone." Responding to Premalatha's suggestion about giving the deputy chief minister position to a senior minister, Muthusamy replied, "It's our party's decision to whom we should give the deputy chief minister position. We will decide on that."
