Tamil Nadu Government Orders Transfer of Deputy Collectors in Coimbatore District

The Tamil Nadu government has issued orders on July 25 for the transfer of deputy collector-level officials in various districts, including Coimbatore, affecting several key positions.


Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government has issued orders on July 25 for the transfer of deputy collector-level officials in various districts, including significant changes in Coimbatore.

R. Viswanathan, who was the Sub-Collector of Sivakasi, has been appointed as the Assistant Commissioner (Urban Land Tax) in Coimbatore. T. Ilavarasi, who previously held this position in Coimbatore, has been transferred to Chennai as the Computer Analyst at the Directorate of e-Governance.

M. Kokila, who was serving as the Personal Assistant (General) to the Coimbatore District Collector, has been appointed as the Coordination Officer for the Bharat Petroleum Pipeline Project in Irugur-Devangonthi (Karnataka). A. Sangeetha, who was the Sub-Collector of Thiruvarur, has been named as the new Personal Assistant (General) to the Coimbatore District Collector.

In other transfers, R. Gunasekaran, the District Supply and Consumer Protection Officer of Coimbatore, has been moved to Erode as the District Manager of Tamil Nadu Trading Corporation. R. Jeevareka, who was the Assistant Commissioner of Excise in Erode, will now take over as the District Supply and Consumer Protection Officer in Coimbatore.

V. Pandarinathan, who served as the Sub-Collector of Coimbatore (South), has been transferred to Tiruppur as the District Manager of Tamil Nadu Trading Corporation. C. Ramkumar, previously the Assistant Commissioner (Excise) in Tiruppur, will replace Pandarinathan as the Sub-Collector of Coimbatore (South).

Lastly, A. Kavitha, who was the Assistant Commissioner of Coimbatore Corporation (East Zone), has been appointed as the Rehabilitation Officer for the Chennai-Kanyakumari Industrial Corridor Project, filling a vacant position in Salem.

These transfers are part of the state government's administrative reshuffle, aimed at enhancing efficiency and providing officers with diverse experiences across different roles and locations.
