Actor Prashanth attended the logo launch event for the Polo Premier League and Equestrian Champions League in Coimbatore, expressing his enthusiasm for horse riding and upcoming film projects.

Coimbatore: The logo launch event for the Polo Premier League and Equestrian Champions League, scheduled to take place in Coimbatore this November, was held at a private hotel on Avinashi Road. Actor Prashanth, one of the special guests at the event, met with reporters afterwards.

Speaking to the media, Prashanth expressed his lifelong passion for horse riding. "I've been interested in horse riding since childhood. I learned it at a club in Guindy. I've also acted in many horse riding scenes in my films," he said. The actor praised the beautiful connection between the horse and its rider, adding, "I'm delighted that such an event is happening here. I've come to encourage and support this initiative by Tamils in Coimbatore."

When asked if he would participate in a celebrity match during the Polo Premier League, Prashanth confidently replied, "I would be the captain of that team."

Discussing his upcoming film "Andhagan," Prashanth revealed, "Andhagan will release on August 15th. We'll make a special announcement about the film on July 24th. A stellar cast including Simran and Karthik Samuthirakani has acted in this film. I'm grateful to all of them for agreeing to be part of this project for me and my father. We've made this film with a huge budget, and I'm sure people will celebrate and appreciate it."

Regarding the dance sequence in the film "GOAT," Prashanth expressed his gratitude to choreographer Rajasundaram, director Venkat Prabhu, Vijay, and Prabhu Deva. He mentioned that Venkat Prabhu wanted all three of them to dance together in a particular scene, which they happily agreed to and are pleased with the outcome.

On the topic of multi-star films, Prashanth said, "I've acted in multi-star films like 'Thiruda Thiruda' and 'Kannedhirey Thondrinal'. The current era is for multi-star films, and 'GOAT' is based on that concept. I thank director Venkat Prabhu and the production company AGS for this opportunity."

The actor also shared his views on sequels and his father's influence on his career. "If there's a good story, I'll act in it. Based on that, we could make sequels to all my films," he said. Prashanth added that he continues to learn from his father, who is known for his friendly approach to everyone.

When asked about the 2026 elections, Prashanth stated, "My support in the 2026 elections will be for those who stand with the people."
