Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore has announced a two-day training program on "Commercial Production of Vegetable and Fruit Products" scheduled for July 23 and 24, 2024. The training will be held from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM on both days.

The program will provide hands-on training in preparing various food products such as dehydrated vegetables and fruits, mixed fruit jam, squash, ready-to-serve beverages, pickles, candy, and fruit bars. This initiative aims to equip participants with skills in food processing and value addition to agricultural produce.

Interested individuals can register for the training by paying a fee of Rs. 1,770 (Rs. 1,500 + 18% GST) on the first day of the program. The training will take place at the Post Harvest Technology Centre, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore - 641 003.
