Coimbatore – Tirupati Express to Stop at Samalpatti from July 22

The Coimbatore – Tirupati Express will have a new stoppage at Samalpatti Railway Station starting July 22, 2024. Dr L. Murugan will inaugurate the service via video conference on July 19.


Coimbatore: Railway passengers traveling between Coimbatore and Tirupati will soon have an additional stoppage option. The Tirupati – Coimbatore – Tirupati Express (Train No. 22615/22616) will begin halting at Samalpatti Railway Station from July 22, 2024.

Dr L. Murugan, Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, is scheduled to inaugurate this new stoppage through a video conference from Mettupalayam on July 19, 2024. This addition to the train's route is expected to benefit passengers from the Samalpatti area, providing them with improved connectivity to both Coimbatore and Tirupati.
