Loan Mela at Coimbatore District Central Cooperative Bank from Tomorrow

Coimbatore District Central Cooperative Bank to host loan mela from July 18 to 30. Various loans including education, housing, and vehicle loans to be offered across 39 branches in Coimbatore and Tirupur districts.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Central Cooperative Bank is set to organize a loan mela starting tomorrow, July 18, until July 30. The event will take place across 39 branches of the central cooperative bank in Coimbatore and Tirupur districts, as announced by the bank's Additional Registrar and Managing Director.

The loan mela will offer a wide range of financial services, including deposit collection and loan disbursement. Depositors can enjoy interest rates of up to 8.10% on their savings. The bank will provide various types of loans during this period, including education loans, household appliance loans, re-mortgage loans for senior citizens, two-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicle loans, Kalaignar's Dream Home loans, housing loans, small and micro-entrepreneur loans, and women entrepreneur loans.

Additionally, the bank will offer loans for widows and abandoned women, rural artists, and vacant land purchase. Special loan schemes from TAMCO, TAHDCO, TABCEDCO, and loans for differently-abled individuals will also be available.

The loan mela will be conducted in different branches on specific dates. Some of the locations include Annur, Pollachi, and Anaimalai on July 18; Tirupur, Avinashi, Madukkarai, and Thondamuthur on July 19; R.S. Puram, Anupparpalayam, Ondipudur, and Negamam on July 20. The mela will continue in various other branches until July 30.

The Coimbatore District Central Cooperative Bank is also offering a 7.5% interest rate on recurring deposits for women beneficiaries of the "Women's Right Amount" scheme. Furthermore, to facilitate higher education for students currently in 12th grade, savings accounts are being opened under the "Pudhumai Penn" and "Tamil Puthalvan" schemes, allowing them to receive government scholarships easily.

The bank officials have urged customers to take advantage of these opportunities and participate in the loan mela.
