Detailed Project Report Being Prepared for Neelambur Bypass Widening

Coimbatore: The Highways Department is currently in the process of preparing a detailed project report (DPR) for the widening of the Neelambur bypass, also known as L&T Bypass, in Coimbatore. This significant infrastructure project was among the key topics discussed during a recent meeting, as per an official release.

The development comes as part of ongoing efforts to improve the city's road infrastructure and ease traffic congestion. The Neelambur bypass is a crucial stretch connecting major parts of the city, and its widening is expected to significantly enhance traffic flow and connectivity.

On Tuesday, Coimbatore Member of Parliament Ganapathi Rajkumar, accompanied by Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati and Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran, conducted an inspection of some of the areas related to this project. The visit underscores the importance of the project and the authorities' commitment to overseeing its progress.
