Tamil Nadu Government Orders Transfer of 15 IAS Officers Including Home Secretary

Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu government has issued orders for a significant administrative reshuffle, transferring 15 IAS officers to new positions. This move, announced on July 16, includes the transfer of the state's Home Secretary.

Amudha, who was serving as the Principal Secretary of the Home Department, has been transferred to the position of Secretary of Revenue and Disaster Management Department. Taking her place as the new Home Secretary is Dheeraj Kumar.

In another key change, J. Radhakrishnan, who was the Commissioner of Greater Chennai Corporation, has been transferred to the position of Secretary of Cooperation and Consumer Affairs Department.

S. Valarmathi, who was serving as the District Collector of Ranipet, has been appointed as the Joint Secretary of the Social Welfare Department.

This administrative reshuffle affects several crucial departments including Home, Revenue, Cooperative, and School Education. The sudden order by the Tamil Nadu government to transfer these 15 key IAS officers has created a stir in administrative circles.
