BJP Pays Tribute to Kamarajar on His 121st Birth Anniversary in Udumalpet

The Udumalpet town BJP unit honored Kamarajar on his 121st birth anniversary by garlanding his statue near the old bus stand. The event saw participation from various BJP leaders.


Coimbatore: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit in Udumalpet, Tiruppur district, paid homage to the late freedom fighter and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, K. Kamaraj, on the occasion of his 121st birth anniversary. The event took place at Kamaraj's statue near the old bus stand in Udumalpet.

Led by the town BJP president Kannayiram, party members garlanded the statue of Kamaraj as a mark of respect. The ceremony saw the participation of several key BJP functionaries from the local and district levels.



Among the notable attendees were Jothiswari Kanthasamy, a state executive committee member, and Vaduganathan, the district general secretary. The event also saw the presence of town zonal general secretaries Srinivasan and Thambidurai, along with vice-presidents Kuppusamy and Ganesh Anand.

Other prominent BJP leaders who participated in the tribute included Chinraj, the district campaign chief, Nagamanickam, the president of Udumalpet North Union, and Balaguru, the district youth wing general secretary. The gathering reflected the party's efforts to honor the legacy of Kamaraj, who is widely respected across political lines in Tamil Nadu.
